Welcome to the Nordic Masters Championship at Bislett in Oslo, from 3 to 5 July 2026.

On behalf of the Norwegian Athletics Association, it is my great pleasure to welcome you all to Norway and to our capital city, Oslo. Bislett Stadium is renowned worldwide as a historic and iconic athletics venue, and we are proud to host you here in its inspiring surroundings. We are also pleased to include Stovner Stadium as part of the championship, showcasing more of what Oslo has to offer.

We are honored to welcome Masters athletes from across the Nordic countries— athletes who truly embody our vision: “athletics for all, throughout life.” Your dedication, passion, and commitment to the sport are an inspiration to us all.

We are confident that this championship has been designed to provide the best possible and equal conditions for every athlete to perform at their highest level. Equally important, however, is that these days become a celebration of friendship, unity, respect, and true sportsmanship. Events like this remind us that athletics is not only about results, but also about community and shared experiences across generations and borders.

We also hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy Oslo—its vibrant city life, its green spaces, and its welcoming atmosphere—during your stay.

A sincere thank you to Norwegian Masters, Sankthanshaugen Løpeklubb, Koll Friidrett, Groruddalen Friidrett, all dedicated members of the organizing team, and the many volunteers who have contributed their time and energy. Without your efforts, this championship would not be possible.

For å delta i alle arrangementer i regi av Norges Friidrettsforbund og dens klubber er det er krav om lisens, fra det året man fyller 13 år til og med det året man fyller 80. Dette gjelder også for deltakelse i Nordisk mesterskap for Masters på Bislett.

Lisensen inneholder en idrettsskadeforsikring som dekker skader som oppstår under utøvelse av friidrett. Man kan kjøpe helårslisens som gir dekning hele året, eller en engangslisens som gir dekning under ett arrrangement.
